Founded in 2017 by graphic design studio STUDIO150, in partnership with Bangkok CityCity Gallery (BKKABF), this art book fair brings together self-publishing and co-creating communities to share cultural nuance, ideas and artistic practices.

BKKABF invites around 35 global exhibitors to apply for the annual event, and each year there’s a theme that probes the intersection of creativity and the current social climate. The programming focuses on mixed formats, ranging from exhibitions to discussions; screenings to food and music. Aside from being an art book fair, it’s a space for a network of independent and globally established publishers to meet and unravel the magic of DIY, homegrown publications.

Mumbai’s first contemporary art fair was founded by Minal and Dinesh Vazirani, the couple behind one of India’s leading auction houses SaffronArt. 

The boutique fair celebrates South Asian art and the unique energy of the nation's capital. This year is set to mark Mumbai Art Fair’s sophomore edition, and the programming will tap into some of the cultural art forms that Mumbai is globally recognised for: from Bollywood to fashion and performance art.

International galleries, speakers and exhibitors gather here annually, but aside from connecting global audiences what Mumbai Art Fair excels in is championing contemporary artists whilst paying homage to its location and the culture of its surroundings. Through Mumbai Art Fair, Minal and Dinesh Vazirani are platforming the new and the innovative within India’s art scene.

Mumbai Art Fair

 oldest and most prestigious biennale of contemporary art. 

Established curator and art critic Nicolas Bourriaud – who’s worked across Istanbul Biennial, MoCo and Palais de Tokyo – has been named artistic director for this year's event, which coincides with the 15th event (even years only) and 30th anniversary. This milestone edition has been commissioned in memory of the lives lost in the civil uprising that took place in Gwangju on 18 May 1980.

Not only is the Gwangju Biennale a hub for visual artists, it offers a platform for cultural exchange and discourse on artistic practices. Each year a theme weaves a thread between the exhibiting artists; last year's overarching topic was 

 and the transformative and restorative power of water. The biennale spotlighted over 80 artists from around the globe, and over 40 new works and projects. The title for this year’s chapter is 

Pansori – a soundscape of the 21st century, 

which pays homage to the folk genre that originated from southwest Korea in the 17th century.

The city itself offers a historical backdrop to this event, serving as a hub for youth culture, the arts and fashion. It’s South Korea’s sixth largest metropolis, supporting the expansion of contemporary Korean art on the global stage.

Gwangju Biennale is taking place at the Exhibition Hall, Gwangju, from 7 September to 1 December 2024.

Located in the northeast, the biennale is over an hour’s journey by train from the city centre and airport.

 was founded by Pablo Guisa Koestinger in 2008 to promote Mexican filmmakers and the country's long-standing tradition of producing horror and fantasy films. 

While it began as a film festival, Morbido has expanded to become a multifaceted event providing artists with space to promote multi-platform content.

, Morbido also hosts events across Latin America and is a continental-wide activation showcasing the best of Latin American horror, sci-fi and fantasy from up-and-coming directors. Furthermore, it hosts an open call for entries each year, allowing filmmakers of all levels to submit their work.

Morbido fest will return on 31 October 2024. The location is yet to be announced.
