It's Bangkok's most legendary shopping mall and entertainment centre. I often come here to get inspired by the diverse vibe, ranging from a cyberpunk-themed maid cafe to Teen Pop Idol gigs. You can easily spot many young cross-players and teenagers dressed in Lolita or goth fashion. Don't forget to try the excellent food court there. MBK reminds me a lot of the fresh future of Bangkok youth.

A record store where I often bump into local DJs and have conversations about music and the scene. There are always new local DJs and international ones spinning there, playing indie music and underground tracks. You can find anything from old Thai country vinyl to contemporary pop records, along with some really tasty cocktails. The bar is also owned by a singer and songwriter from my favourite all-female band: Yellow Fang.

This is Bangkok's Akihabara, the Otaku sanctuary. It's the hub of Japanese anime figures, toys and video games, where you can easily lose track of time in a paradise of eye-popping displays with fully stocked shelves of cute toys. Additionally, if you're looking for vintage cameras, this is the ideal spot to find one.

This is an iconic bar that embraces alternative and is LGBTQIA+ friendly. Here, you'll find drag queens performing lip-syncs to 'Smells Like Teen Spirit,' alongside Britney Spears B-side tracks. They also host karaoke nights where you can sing anything from Radiohead to Taylor Swift amid the bustling tourist street of Khao San. You'll experience a complete contrast in the vibe of this bar, almost like falling down the rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland.

Recently, Photoautomat has become trendy among Bangkok teenagers. There are numerous photo booths across town. Among them, the one located in the midst of Siam Square (the shopping street) is the most well-known. It features various photo booths with different themes and styles, most of which look fashionable and Instagram-worthy. You'll encounter stylish Bangkok youth dressed up in Y2K fashion, patiently waiting in line to use all the photo booths there.

I swear, this is the cutest store in town filled with stickers, postcards, gliptok, posters, fan art, K-Pop keychains, Y2K fashion clothing from local artists and brands – and also sticker machines. Located in the heart of Siam Square, this store brings back the early 2000s vibe of the area where people simply enjoyed their fashion and were ready to be photographed by random photographers. You can come and get some spectacular souvenirs that will impress your friends back home.

This is the spot for hip-hop enthusiasts, where you can come to listen to new sounds from underground DJs and collectives from various cities. Blaq Lyte used to be a small bar where everyone knew each other, and it's where I met many renowned Thai rappers. Now, it has grown even larger and gained more recognition in the scene, but it still maintains the same vibe.

The Rock Pub is a classic venue that has been open for more than 20 years. It's known as Bangkok's house of punk, metal, alternative and all things rock 'n' roll with a dive bar style. Yes, it's Bangkok's CBGB, where you can hear live bands playing classic numbers like Green Day, Blink 182, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and many more.

As you may already know, Thailand is the land of superstition, and this occult statue in Bangkok has become its urban legend. The statue features a gargoyle-like figure with long red nails that creeps many people out. It has even been featured on national news, challenging traditional Buddhist beliefs. There is still no confirmation about whether this statue is associated with white or black magic. Therefore, my suggestion is to avoid making any deals if you don't want to get in any trouble.

Prepare yourself for the 500 Shades of Bangkok. If you have a kinky side, this one's for you. It's an LGBTQIA+ friendly cafe with a fetish and BDSM theme, owned by ForFun: a fetish wear store and a BDSM community next to it. The coffee and cocktail menu features names like Master & Slave, Bondage and Pet Play. The ambience is adorned with leather and chains, and the red light shines brightly. If you're seeking a unique afternoon tea experience with the scent of leather and a hint of pain, this is the perfect spot for you.

Tian Taru in Payangan, Gianyar, is recommended for its exceptional and unparalleled effort by Sebastian Mesdag and Ayu Purpa. Over the span of 20 years, they have dedicated themselves to creating a forest and a plantation even before harvesting the indigo for their crafts. Their holistic approach to brand thinking, centered around the principles of endurance and sustainability, is a rarity in modern-day Bali. What sets their endeavor apart is not just the making of indigo, but the incredible level of craftsmanship and intensive research that underpins their entire process.
From their deep insight into the dyeing process to their thorough understanding of the native plants in Payangan and the meticulous planning of their farm and workshop area, every aspect of Tian Taru showcases a dedication to excellence. The construction of their shelter, which also serves as a space for workshops and classes, has been thoughtfully designed to align with their vision, their decision to open Tian Taru as a dedicated space to share their knowledge and contribute to the local village reflects a genuine commitment to giving back. It's not just about ideation, but also about cultivating positive, sustainable habits within their community. Visiting the Bajra Sandhi Monument in Denpasar, a monumental structure that holds significant cultural and historical importance. Growing up in Bali, it's hard not to remember witnessing this structure gradually unveil itself as a place where people from Denpasar gather to relax, take a leisurely stroll, enjoy some grilled corn, or savor a delicious lumpia (fried spring roll) with homemade sauce. Even though it's not yet fully completed, the museum has already become a central spot for socializing in Denpasar, with people leisurely hanging out around its lush garden and pathways. 
The Bajra Sandhi Museum stands as one of the most important cultural institutions in Bali, showcasing the historical timeline of the island, its struggle for independence, and the heroic efforts of its patrons and patriots. It is a place that offers a comfortable and engaging atmosphere, where visitors can immerse themselves in the rich history and stories of Bali while also enjoying the serene surroundings. The museum serves as a metaphorical reminder of the importance of remembering and honoring the sacrifices made by those who fought for Bali's independence and cultural identity.


I recommend visiting Kedux, a figure who has greatly influenced the custom culture in Bali. Although I don't personally know him, his impact on the way of living and his ability to push boundaries have made Bali a representative of this unique culture. He has created a wave of inspiration for young individuals, showing them that dreams are not too high to reach as long as they are willing to put in hard work and maintain discipline. Kedux is known for his passion for custom motorcycles, with a particular focus on Harley Davidson, European, and American muscle bikes. His craftsmanship in working with gasoline and oil goes beyond what anyone else in Bali, and even Indonesia, can achieve. When discussing Kedux, mention should also be made of other renowned artists like Marmar Herayukti. Together, they contribute to something beyond imagination in terms of artistry and technicality.
 
One of the highlights of Kedux's work is his involvement in creating ogoh-ogoh, which are large papier-mâché effigies used in the festivities leading up to Nyepi. During the pengrupukan ceremony, these artistic and technically impressive creations take center stage, representing one of million essence of Bali. From the small canang offerings made by mothers or grandmothers at home to the enormous ogoh-ogoh prepared by the seka teruna teruni, a youth group in each Banjar (traditional neighborhood community), Bali is filled with artistic expressions that intertwine with its cultural identity. 


Space Available holds a significance as it represents the early forefront of the sustainability movement within the creative industry. Space Available was one of the early platforms to address the issue of waste and sustainability, inspiring others to join the cause. The platform introduced a circular system that transformed waste into beautiful products, sparking a much-needed dialogue around the impact of over consumption on the environment.

Space Available's commitment to sustainability extends beyond its products and into all aspects of the platform, from production to consumption, and even their merchandise. The top-notch communication and creativity displayed by the team pushes the boundaries of what is possible and inspires a new generation to take active roles in environmental conservation.
Dan Mitchell, the man behind Space Available, was my mentor and a former Creative Director for Potato Head, where I had the pleasure of witnessing his approach to bridging the desire for change and the need for beautiful products. His ability to intertwine his beliefs and concerns with his creative vision has left a long-lasting impression on me. Space Available's commitment to sustainability and driving change is unparalleled, and it encompasses our responsibility to conserve, protect and respect the environment towards a more sustainable future in the creative industry. 


Studio Gelombang in Gianyar is a gem that I highly recommend. This studio is founded by the remarkable artist, Made Griyawan, whose passion not only shines through his art but also through his dedication to giving back to the community. In Bali, the concept of art and artists has deep roots in the act of offering to the higher force, a tradition that predates the formal existence of the term "artist" before the 1930s, especially within early art collectives. This cultural context continues to be passed down through generations, with the learning process traditionally beginning within the family. Youngsters observe their parents or grandparents engaging in artistic endeavors, absorbing the techniques and traditions organically.
 
Made Griyawan embodies this tradition by passing on his knowledge and the spirit of "ngayah" (doing contribution) to the younger generation in Batuan, where he hails from and where the renowned Batuan style originates. His commitment goes beyond preserving and continuing the legacy of his predecessors; he also provides a platform for young individuals from the village of Batuan to study, learn, and refine their skills within the Batuan style while exploring new artistic possibilities and the studio serves as a hub for nurturing and perpetuating this rich artistic tradition.


The recommendation for Tandjung Sari in my guide holds a personal significance as it represents a treasure that I stumbled upon in 2017 through a 50th-anniversary book. Despite my childhood spent in Sanur, I had never come across this place during the pre-crisis and reformasi era. This discovery evoked memories of my father taking me fishing along the shores of Mertasari Beach to Shindu, creating a connection to Tandjung Sari that was previously unknown to me. Throughout the pandemic, the hospitality industry faced tremendous challenges, I had the opportunity to assist Tandjung Sari. This experience not only allowed me to refine their communications but also provided insights into the rich archives and personal stories of staff members who had dedicated decades to the establishment, fostering a deeper appreciation for its history and legacy.
The collaborative efforts of Wija Waworuntu with I Nyoman Cekog and I Wayan Puger was rooted not just in architectural drawings or technicalities, but in Wija's conceptual ideas and discussions about layouts, which Cekog and Puger then translated through their understanding of Balinese architecture. This process encapsulated the transmission of knowledge and formation of learning spaces within familial and kinship ties, mirroring the traditional passing down of knowledge in Balinese families. Such an approach gave rise to the early design elements associated with Bali style, seamlessly integrating Balinese philosophy with modern functionality.
The intersection of Balinese philosophy and modern functionality at Tandjung Sari signifies the seamless integration of cultural heritage into contemporary design, setting it apart as a boutique hotel that embodies these principles. Like a living museum, Tandjung Sari's legacy endures through its steadfast commitment to maintaining this delicate balance, ensuring that its rich history remains a vibrant part of its present-day identity.

This is my favorite thrift store and one I only discovered earlier this year. They've got everything from vintage clothing, to film cameras and super 8's, to vinyls and record players all at really affordable prices. Highly recommend this space as you'd spend the whole day perusing through wonderland.

Another store with a plethora of vintage stuff, they have rad discounts on a weekly basis on clothes and accessories, among many other things.

This is the scene in Mean Girls where Regina George imagines all the girls in high school mauling each other like animals, Dunusa is a jungle and one you should prepare all your energy for as it's wild but you will find so many gems at really cheap prices. Always remember to only have cash with you.

Not only will you meet the cutest little cats but you will step into a big store full of amazing vintage clothing and the store depends solely on donations by supporting 30 charity organisations. Your money would be going to great causes for both people and pets in the neighbouring communities!

Another thrift store that supports charity and offers a wide array of cool clothing to look through.

Every Saturday, you can find thrift markets at Kitcheners with cool styles ranging from denim looks to '80's aesthetics.

Literally anywhere in Maboneng, you will find really lovely thrift stores and during weekends they are alight with markets on the street with incredible styles, and you can find your way to café's and restaurants as you shop.

Semi-formal and invite-only nightclub that offers fun from Wednesday to Saturday spinning tunes from old school hip-hop to funk. They bring renowned musicians around the globe to perform the best sounds over the weekend

A premium man's fashion boutique located on Jiashan Road that offers brands like Alyx, visvim, Undercover, etc. There is no cell phone signal, because it is in the basement, so don't bother asking your girlfriend or mom for their opinion. Decide your own style and just buy!

A neat Italian restaurant that offers creative cuisine using organic ingredients. Modern interior design and spacious dining environment won't disappoint you.

A go-to place after work for dinner. Usually packed with people from Monday to Sunday. The outdoor space gives you a moment to chill and relax in the city. Not to mention the cocktails are the state-of-art level and gets you tipsy before hitting up to the afterparty.

Another great party spot right next to Le Baron. A bit of a private-ish club that divides the space into a chilling lounge and a dance floor. Newly renovated venue to provide good drink and cozy environment. Best place to chill out with your closest friends.

Store X offers a unique blend of fashion, art and culture in one space. It mirrors Berlin's artistic and fashion-forward identity by providing a platform where creatives from all over the world meet. Their curated selections are one of a kind. I'd recommend exploring their record collection; grab a coffee right there and vibe. Most of the time a DJ there is spinning records. This might be the only time where it’s OK to walk up to the DJ and ask to play a record.

YaMe NumNums mirrors Berlin's love for international cuisine, offering a slice of Japan in the heart of the city, reflecting its multicultural and diverse culinary landscape. It stands out for its authentic homemade udon. I mean udon by itself is already insane, but homemade udon? Come on! Also love the owner – real Berliner, female, BIPOC! I'd suggest trying their signature udon noodles. My favourite is miso, sends you right to heaven.

The magic of YaMe NumNums lies in its ability to transport diners to Japan through flavours, offering a sense of tradition and authenticity in every bite. It serves as a culinary bridge, connecting the local community to the essence of Japanese food culture, contributing to Berlin's culinary diversity.

The magic of Silo lies in its ability to bring a slice of Australian brunch culture to Berlin, fostering a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Its vibrant atmosphere and delicious, unique brunch options are exceptional. Their varied menu and quality coffee make it a go-to spot for a lively morning experience. It’s more than a hangover spot! But also incredibly bomb when hungover. I'd suggest trying their unique twist on classic brunch items like the avocado toast or their top-notch coffee that comes from a local roastery.

It’s also located in one of Berlin’s loveliest neighbourhoods, so grab brunch on Sunday there and continue the day at the flea market nearby or head over to Berghain like a true Berliner on Sunday morning.

A man needs to eat every now and then. This spot is a great place to catch up with friends while having some good food.

Shopping is one of my favourite things. This shopping centre is cosy and offers so easy different restaurants and retail stores. It's also easy to get around.

Nicely secluded boutique hotel. It has a relaxing and chilled ambience when in need of luxury treatment and relaxation.

Johannesburg is the concrete jungle where we hustle and chase our dreams. This area is where you get first-hand experience of authentic cultural expression of all those chasing their dreams and making things happen. The people here are very friendly and genuine.

This is an urban part of the city that is full of creative energy. The block is the arts and culture hub of Johannesburg.

A unique cosy bar that offers South African cuisine. It blasts some of the best of local music too.

Not Venice technically, but close enough. Me and my kids love this place. So much delicious food, always a DJ playing great tunes. Lots of local artisans. Love the dumplings and also the Nutella, strawberries and cream crepes.

A hidden gem in Santa Monica. It lives in a five car garage, as the name suggests. Is run by Emma Gray – a force of a woman, British and also an artist. She runs a meditation studio above the gallery and is a reiki master. What more could you ask for?!

The first gallery I saw when I arrived in LA. I fell in love instantly. Now my studio is round the corner from them and I can wander over whenever I like. I also had my first show with them last year.

Union! An LA shopping staple. It's a menswear boutique with some of my favorite streetwear and high end brands like; Comme des Garçons, Noon Goons, and AWAKE. It’s also on La Brea, which is a great shopping area in town! If you visit Union I recommend popping into Stussy next door, and Undefeated across the street

If you’re in LA on the second Sunday of the month I definitely suggest waking up a bit early to take a trip out to this flea market in Pasadena. Some of the best vintage dealers in LA that are usually private set up shop here once a month. It’s always fun bargaining too

Squaresville is a vintage shop in the Los Feliz area! The prices are super reasonable and they have a good selection of vintage designer items too! 🤫

LCD is a super cute higher-end womenswear/streetwear shop in the DTLA shopping center called The Row. It's behind the old American Apparel factory. Pro tip: go on a Sunday afternoon! They have this event called smorgasbord and there’s a bunch of yummy food vendors! + shopping

In here you can find all you need to look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G for your rave night out. On the first floor they have UV light shining clothes, including the classic rave trousers and tank tops. But the second floor (which is my favourite) is a goth girls dream place, the amount of black PVC clothing is crazy and the shoe rack has it all in so many different sizes.

While you’re at it you should definitely visit this hidden gem Chambers of Love which hides behind the shoe racks of C.U.M Clubwear. They have Scandinavia's biggest collection of fetish and BDSM gear including some really cool outfit’s that you could never find anywhere else.

This is my main spot for studs, I always come here when I’m making a new choker or decorating a new jacket because this is the only place in Stockholm where you can buy them separately at a very good price. Also they have EVERYTHING, jewelry, band t-shirts, lighters, wall decorations you name it! Definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area.

Nothing says crazy shoes as Sko Uno, they have a WIDE collection of platforms and the classic Dr martens. They opened up before I was born and is Stockholms most ICONIC place for shoe shopping.

Sitting at the crossroads of Chinatown and the Lower East Side, Chop Suey Club is a boutique store in downtown NYC focusing on contemporary Chinese design, arts and culture. They procure design products from young Chinese creatives around the world, showcasing seasonal rotations of items for diverse lifestyles. They believe the best way to dissipate xenophobia is to make your own culture more accessible to others. Chop Suey Club is an effort to open up contemporary Chinese culture to a larger audience.

Rooted is a modern-day plant company reconnecting you to nature, one houseplant at a time. Rooted was started because they firmly believe in the positive mental, emotional and physical health benefits associated with having greenery in your space.

.IMAGE is the first sneaker consignment shop to open in Queens, New York. Located in the heart of Queens, Main St Flushing, they carry many hard to find and limited sneakers you will not find anywhere else.

The space is a more than a restaurant, it’s a home away from home. With a growing number of Korean-Americans and Korean internationals working and studying in the city, Her Name Is Han wanted to create a place where these busy dwellers of New York can find the perfect home-cooked meal, prepared with the goal of bringing about the flavours of their mothers’ cooking.

Jeepney is the best Filipino Food in NYC hands down. The restaurant, founded by Nicole Ponseca’s and Miguel Trinidad, has been at the fore-front of popularizing Filipino food in the city. It’s named after the "Jeepney", the WWII jeeps left behind by US occupation. Filipinos took the left-over jeeps chopped them up and tricked them out, creating a vibe, a mode of transport and a symbol that is uniquely Filipino. That is the essence of being of Jeepney and being Filipino – it's a vibe, a mode, and a symbol of uniqueness.

The original Lhasa in Jackson Heights is one of our favourite places in the city to eat momos. Each momo flavour is so delicious it’s understandably difficult to choose which flavour you want to commit to. So to make it easier for you, they do great combo selections, perfect for lunch of dinner.

This is a collection of shops, restaurants and galleries all in one space in Johannesburg. My favourite spot to go to when I am there is called "Peachy" they have incredible "Asianesque Wings" that you need to try out. They also have live music which is always great, especially when it is Jazz!

This is one of the best places I have been to in Johannesburg. The food is incredible, the music is so nice and the overall aesthetic of the place is amazing, in fact, I shot some scenes for my music video "Sunday" in the venue. When you go there you need to ask for Katlego Mlambo, he is the head chef - award winning type of guy.

This is a really cool place to go chill on a Saturday afternoon, it is a food and drink market that happens in the city, great views, good music and tasty food is always a good combination.

My favorite part about these gardens is the river with the fish, I like feeding the fish, it is so peaceful and green. Oh, they also have ducks and ducks are really cute. Sometimes, you just need to sit under a tree and breathe in fresh air with your shoes off, this is the perfect place for this.

This is an old school cinema based in Braamfontein, which is near Johannesburg city centre. They showcase indie films there, both local and international. It's really great to spend an evening watching indie films and eating popcorn, I feel so vintage when I do that.

This place is really cool, it is a lifestyle centre made up of over 100 empty shipping containers filled with different fashion and retail stores, there are also some really cool coffee shops with great doughnuts, they sometimes have live music too, if you watching live music you need a glass of wine. South Africa has the best wine.

This rooftop is on the 15th Floor of a designer hotel in the middle of Johannesburg City Centre, the views of the city are incredible and the sunsets are even better. If you ever find yourself in this beautiful venue you have to try the Oysters, they are unbelievable.

Beijing

Manhengji does the most authentic Old Beijing hotpot. Located in the bustling Niujie area, here, the hotpot uses traditional flavours and is cooked to strict halal standards. Copper pots and charcoal are used to cook the broth. Be warned: it's best to avoid peak dining hours or you might find yourself waiting in line for a long time. Once you can get a seat, the experience is worth the wait.

Must-try dishes include the Huimin-style stir-fried tripe – a traditional Beijing snack that's particularly popular in halal restaurants. Don't miss the hand-cut lamb leg meat too. However, if you're not accustomed to the gamey taste of lamb, you might want to think twice. The lamb here retains its most primitive flavour, which might not be for everyone. But with its affordable price,
generous portions and great value, it'll be money well spent. If you're a hotpot enthusiast, Manhengji is a place you can't miss.

Guizhou is renowned for its unique sour fish soup – a traditional delicacy of the Miao and Dong ethnic groups. The allure of this dish lies not only in the tender fish and the rich soup, but also in its distinctive sour and spicy flavour. Typically, this dish pairs fresh fish with homemade fermented soup, and it's seasoned with spices like chilli peppers and wood ginger, all boiled together to create an appetising, sour and spicy dish. In a Guizhou restaurant, you can also experience the rich array of ingredients from the Guizhou mountains. Tip: try the 50% love 50% hate dish 鱼腥草.

All my friends who like Sichuan food say this is the one. This place serves authentic Sichuan flavours. The tofu pudding is a highlight. Made from top-quality soy beans, it is carefully grounded and fermented to produce a delicate texture and rich bean flavour. Whether paired with spicy sauce, numbing sauce or sugar water, it'll keep you coming back for more.


Kung pao chicken, mapo tofu, and boiled fish with pickled cabbage and chilli; each dish is a perfect interpretation of the essence of Sichuan cuisine. Located in Wangjing, it's not in the most central area but it's a very authentic, small restaurant that's worth the trip.

Hunan cuisine is considered to be quite spicy among the many provinces in China that love spicy food. Those who are not confident with spice should be cautious. This is serious. At this Hunan cuisine restaurant, you can enjoy authentic chopped pepper fish head and old Changsha stinky tofu. The chopped pepper fish head is known for its spiciness and freshness. The old Changsha stinky tofu is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a unique fermented aroma and special sauce that makes it rich in flavour.

The restaurant's team carefully prepares the dishes to ensure they present the most authentic Hunan flavours, allowing you to experience the culture and charm of Hunan through delicious food. Almost every dish needs to be eaten with rice, which is the way.

This one is one of our favourites. All the DJs we've brought here love the food. It feels like our canteen, and we have tried almost every dish. Even during the peak hours on weekends, the quality is still guaranteed. One of the characteristics of Yunnan cuisine is its diversity and regional features. Yunnan's varied topography and rich climates provide a wealth of ingredients. Therefore, the menu of this restaurant includes a variety of dishes, including wild mushrooms unique to Yunnan, fresh vegetables, various meats and fish. The taste of Yunnan dishes is typically fresh and light, emphasising the natural flavours of the ingredients, and also uses some unique seasonings such as  Yunnan's pickled vegetables, xiaomi chilli and Sichuan pepper to enhance the flavour. You can expect to taste some classic Yunnan dishes such as Crossing the Bridge noodles, Yunnan-style stir-fried meat, pickled vegetable fish and bamboo tube rice. These dishes are not only rich in flavour but also have unique cooking methods, allowing you to experience the local customs and  flavours of Yunnan while enjoying the food.

Although the price is high, this restaurant is still worth a try. I only recommend the roast duck. The other dishes are OK, but the value is not as good. There are wines from France, Italy, Australia and China to choose from. Sheng Yong Xing is a duck restaurant known for its unique flavours and exceptional quality. The restaurant selects high-quality ducks and uses a meticulous curing and special preparation process to ensure that the flavour is at its best. The cooking of the duck is meticulous, resulting in crispy skin and tender meat with a golden colour.

The restaurant has an elegant and comfortable environment with warm and attentive service, providing an excellent dining experience for both family meals and business gatherings. The duck's distinct flavours and quality have attracted many diners, making it a highly-acclaimed duck restaurant.

A cheap, fast-food noodle spot. This small noodle shop is known for its excellent Chongqing noodles and laoma chao shou. Chongqing noodles are a specialty of the Sichuan region, famous for its spicy and numbing flavours. The Chongqing noodles at this shop are made with high-quality flour, resulting in noodles that are springy and elastic. When cooked, the noodles are combined with a special spicy sauce. The overall taste is spicy and rich without being dry, and numbing without being greasy.

Finding a restaurant in Beijing that specialises in Guangdong roast goose can be a bit of a challenge. Guangdong roast goose is a classic Cantonese dish known for its crispy skin, tender meat and golden colour. These establishments typically select high-quality geese that are carefully raised to ensure the
freshness of the meat. The preparation involves several steps, including marinating, drying and basting; the meat absorbs the aroma of fruitwoods during the roasting process, creating a smoked flavour. When served, the roast goose is often accompanied by a special sweet sauce for dipping, which complements the sweetness of the sauce with the succulence of the goose, enhancing the overall flavour profile. In addition to roast goose, Sanqingtan usually offers other classic Cantonese dishes such as claypot rice, white cut chicken, steamed fish and more. The restaurant's environment and service are designed to match the quality of the food.

It's advisable not to visit during peak hours as you might have to queue. It's also best to order early as sometimes the roast goose sells out quickly.

This is a Nigerian restaurant in Inglewood! Their okra stew! It's so spicy. I would go here and make sure to have a couple hours to spare, because sometimes it takes a while to get your food.
