Lagos, the bustling economic hub of Nigeria, is known for its rich cultural heritage. Among the many festivals gracing the city, Homecoming has become one of its most highly-anticipated events.

Since Homecoming was founded in 2017 by Grace Ladoja MBE, the three-day cultural event has become known for the way in which it intersects fashion with music, sport and art. From explosive lineups featuring African and international stars (Skepta, Central Cee, Odumodublvck, Tiwa Savage, Asake and Rema to name a few) to fashion pop-ups – where local and global designers unveil exclusive creations – Homecoming offers a curated glimpse into the zenith of contemporary African culture.

Outside of the festival, there's also an educational initiative to help guide aspiring artists and creatives through the intricacies of their chosen industries. With the aim of propelling careers forwards, prominent figures within the creative sectors have been invited to provide people with invaluable insights and expert advice.

Homecoming is one of the finalists for Trippin 50, a cultural calendar featuring the best events around the world. Check out the Trippin 50 hub here.
