What’s on the map?

The map is a handy NHC essential, showing the locations of sound systems, stages, toilets, food stalls, and safe spaces.

How can I get the map?


A: The map is exclusively available on our Instagram. To access, you have to follow our account and click on the story highlight titled 'NHC Map'.

Can I download the Google Map to work offline?



You can, but we also recommend downloading the PDF version of our map to guarantee access (Google Maps’ offline mode can be temperamental).

How to save the map on Google Maps:

  1. Install Google Maps Ensure the Google Maps app is installed on your phone.
  2. Access the map Click this link to open the map in Google Maps.
  3. Save the map Before Carnival, open Google Maps. Tap Saved in the bottom menu. Scroll down to Maps and tap it. Select the NHC Map to view it.
  4. Keep the map open Don’t fully close Google Maps. You can switch apps, but closing Google Maps will remove the offline map.

Does the map have travel information to Carnival?


The map is for navigating the Carnival site. For information on how to get to Carnival - and updated transport information - click here.

Q: Does the map contain information about the Mas and steel pan bands?

Given the mobile nature of Mas trucks and steel pan bands, we haven’t been able to incorporate information about individual groups. The map does show the parade route.
