Wave Mag and Trippin join forces for a limited edition publication of ISSUE 006. Exclusively for WAVE Issue 006, Trippin curate a feature exploring Black art, culture and identity in America and across the globe. We analyse travel as a radical tool against the Americanisation of Blackness and look at the relationships between people and place, magnifying West Coast culture and The Compton Cowboys, a community who are redefining their cultural narrative and purpose.

This limited edition magazine is an extension of THE GIFT OF TIME ISSUE Spring/Summer 2022, which features conversations with stars of gritty British dramas and Hollywood blockbusters, as well as talented musicians from the UK and around the world - each discussing how they've been using the recent gift of time.

This issue looks at the music flourishing post-lockdown, how the industry is focusing on altruism to take better care of its artists, and how designers and fashion brands are adapting in the name of inclusivity. The past couple of years have proved to be a challenge for countless reasons, however, one thing many have gained is time. As a result, people have pursued artistic and philanthropic ventures, as well as passion projects, by utilising the time gained to create.
