What We Got Up to at TRIPPIN On 35s & 45s
Here’s what went down at 'Trippin On 35s & 45s' last Friday in Mexico City!
A big thank you to everyone who came down to our first event in Mexico City, a celebration of travel photography on film and world music on vinyl in collaboration with our friends, 35S & 45S. Over 300 people came down throughout the night to check out 35mm works from eight local and international photographers and to dance the night away to the sounds of our world class guest DJs spinning global rhythms, all on 45s.
Photographers on show:
Yona Perminger (IL) showing works from Japan
Ana Hop (MX) showing works from Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
Christopher Nechodom (US) showing works from Cuba
Ysa Perez (US) showing works from Oaxaca, Mexico
Laurent Laporte (FR) showing works from Sanur, Bali
Daniel Patlan (MX) showing works from New York, USA
Jaime Martinez (MX) showing works from Spain
Ruvan (US) showing works from Sweden
On DJ duties, we had Micky Perez (US) who kicked off the night with a smooth selection of Latin rhythms, followed by Cuba’s Cami Laye Okun and to close, Mexico’s very own La Lovemaker came through with her stellar mix of cumbia and salsa to end the night in true Mexican style.
Moe Saavedra, Trippin fam and founder of 3x3 Tatuajes, held a flash tattoo station on the night inking a few lucky guests with designs created for the exhibition.
Much love to our incredible sponsors, Ilegal Mezcal and Bocanegra for all their support on the night.

Stay tuned for more events, coming soon to a city near you!
