Irma Ruiseñor is a multi-hyphenate working within Mexico City's bubbling underground scene, having operated as an audiovisual artist, cultural promoter and producer for over a decade.

She first cut her teeth as a radio host with her podcast Sorry I'm Late, which has seen her host episodes with the likes of NAAFI, Deeplinkin, Turning Torso, Ziúr and Flørist, to name a few. This preceded her active involvement in some of Mexico's most cutting-edge parties. Her distinct take on electronic music sees her weave together breakbeat with techno and highly percussive rhythms.

Since, she's grown as a selector and in 2018, she headed up the decks at CDMX's Boiler Room Festival. Now, as a curator and manager of the online radio station YOMobile+ Club Lava, she dives deep into the history of electronic music for each of her shows. Additionally, Irma also organises Deseo, a series of events that unite various facets of the city's alternative electronic music community.
