For over 11 years now, the Brooklyn quintet Phony Ppl—made up of Aja Grant (keyboard), Elijah Rawk (lead guitar) Elbee Thrie (vocals), Matt Byas (drums), and Bari Bass (bass guitar) have been spreading their sound across all corners of the globe. To each of them travel means, exploration, respecting the people and their stories, an opportunity to grow, exposure to different cultures and opening all senses.
