“This beautiful family run restaurant for more than 35 years, had primarily been a wedding and private events venue only until 2020 when the owners finally opened their doors to islanders and tourists. They have a stunning manicured kitchen garden that services the restaurant and a sweet smelling citrus orchard. Now I find that the service standards in Ibiza can at times be haphazard, but here it is always impeccable. The pork glazed in Pekinese sauce, tandoori taco, Korean guacamole and smoked eel is their signature dish this season…and is utterly delectable.”

It is open all year round, still have the original wooden post boxes where locals still collect their parcels and it is here where Ibiza’s first ever public telephone was installed! It remains my go to place for grilled sardines and proper homemade chips (which I also often have with a couple of fried eggs!).”
