Now in its 25th year, the experimental Scandinavian event has garnered a reputation worldwide for curating eclectic and inclusive lineups from across the electronic music, sound, performing and visual arts spectrum. Creepy Teepee

(an acronym for Labyrinth Original Sound Track) is an art and electronic music festival held in the world’s largest plant labyrinth, at Franco Maria Ricci’s Labirinto della Masone.

Spanning three days, the event brings revellers up close and personal with nature across the seven-hectare site, featuring a maze of over 200,000 bamboo plants. Located near Parma, Italy, the surrounding area boasts sweeping, pastoral landscapes and is renowned worldwide for its local cuisine. 

For its 2023 chapter, Lost showcased Italian artist Francesca Heart alongside the likes of experimentalist Yousuke Yukimatsu and composer Lucinda Chua. If past editions are anything to go by, a careful selection of experimental, leftfield Italian and international artists can be expected to grace this truly unique space next summer.

Lost Music will take place at Franco Maria Ricci’s Labirinto della Masone, Italy, on 5-7 July 2024.

, an electronic music festival exclusively showcasing Latin American talent and curated by the legendary Matias Aguayo, takes place in the vibrant party hub of 

Launched in 2022, Latineo is a relatively new event that provides ravers with an inclusive environment in which to revel in the rich and diverse tapestry of Latin American electronic music. The programming spans from experimental sonics to slow, seductive beats; reggaeton to guaracha via cumbia and the fastest rhythms coming out from the region. Its debut edition featured the likes of Julianna, Lucrecia Dalt, Nicola Cruz, Valesuchi and Badsista on the stacked lineup. If previous editions are anything to go by, we're in.

Radical Sounds Latin America is a non-profit festival that platforms talent in sound, music, art, performance and activism from Latin America and its diaspora.

-based festival – which is also a digital platform and cultural hub – fosters a secure space for multicultural exchange across the spectrum of the arts. Last year, itcelebrated its fifth edition, encompassing a six-day hybrid programme both online and offline, inviting participants to explore and reimagine music, art and meaningful dialogues.

The lineup featured an incendiary set from raptor house pioneer DJ Babatr, alongside the likes of Dengue Dengue Dengue and Lila Tiranda a Violeta. There was also a performance of the experimental album

 International Documentary Film Festival) has evolved into one of Europe’s largest events of its kind.

Taking place every year in Denmark's capital, the festival places a distinct emphasis on the intersection of art, science and society.  is an internationally acclaimed festival celebrating natural world storytelling in all forms.

With a rich history spanning over 40 years, it unfolds every other autumn in the rebellious, countercultural city of Bristol, in the UK. Through impeccable curation, Wildscreen spotlights bold stories that aim to spark positive and restorative action for our natural world.

It also aims to nurture the next generation of storytellers. Entries, ranging from Romania's biodiversity to giraffe migration in Kenya, hail from both amateur and seasoned filmmakers. Screenings take place across various Bristol venues, which are nearly all fully wheelchair accessible, aside from the Cube Microplex. All tickets incorporate a small fee that goes towards offsetting carbon impact, while bursaries are available to increase inclusivity and support for attendees in need.

is a new event in Miami that aims to use electronic music, art and talks to provide a refuge from societal violence and global oppressive systems.

Powered by Data for Black Lives, Decompress Fest launched its inaugural edition last year in one of Miami's only Black-owned venues. Its ethos is to celebrate the history and culture of electronic music as Black protest music. Rooted in the power of sound and community-built spaces, the event embraces music as a Black technology for resistance, manifested not just through the DJ sets but also through a series of 

Its debut featured a diverse lineup of electronic artists – including Crystallmess, Suzi Analogue, DJ Minx, Tizza and Gold Panda – with the festival's overarching political ethos expressed through themed days, such as 'MUSIC IS A BLACK TECHNOLOGY' on Thursday and 'FREE PALESTINE SHOW' on Friday.

Based out of the lively and accessible neighbourhood of Little Haiti in Miami, renowned for its rich Haitian and Caribbean culture, Decompress offers the chance to support a community of Black artists, while also immersing yourself in this area's multifaceted mix of local cultures. The festival also coincides with Miami Art Basel, making it an exciting time to explore Florida’s most famous city.

Taking place annually at Siam Country Club, near Pattaya, Thailand, Wonderfruit has evolved into one of the most influential festivals in the region. Each year, it boasts a genre-spanning lineup that features talent from all corners of the Asian continent and beyond. 

This four-day event fosters a laid-back, family-friendly vibe during the day, transforming into a dynamic and high-energy atmosphere by night; hosting acclaimed talents from across the dance music spectrum across multiple distinct and dazzling stages.

Previous editions have combined local and international selectors, bringing together the likes of Di Linh, Elaheh and Ffan with Helena Hauff, Monophonik, Patrick Watson and more. The upcoming tenth edition in December is poised to be the most extravagant chapter of this festival yet. Wonderfruit not only stands out in the way it champions East and Southeast Asian talent, and its stunning location, but also its strong commitment to the environment. The festival takes a firm stand against single-use plastics, emphasising the importance for attendees to leave no trace.

 an international contemporary art exhibition, is held worldwide across multiple locations in the desert. It’s where vast, untamed expanses serve as a canvas for ambitious and breathtaking works of art.

The project was established in 2017 by the non-profit organisation The Desert Biennial, and since then, four exhibitions have taken place across Southern California’s Coachella Valley, welcoming an audience of over 1.7 million.

Desert X has recently expanded internationally too, organising the 

 exhibition in the Saudi Arabian desert, in a bid to foster artistic collaboration across regions. 

is a site-specific, open-air installation, and the theme, In the Presence of Absence, implores artists to explore what cannot be seen; inviting them to create alternative ways of viewing landscapes. The desert, in particular, often conjures up ideas of emptiness, and this exhibition invites viewers to think of these vast areas differently.

This unique exhibition not only showcases captivating art but also emphasises environmental protection and respect for indigenous communities. Adhering to guidelines by the 

, Desert X minimises environmental impact while maintaining accessibility to art through thoughtfully planned access points, pathways and parking.
